We opened in 2012 on a small back street in Shoreditch. Founded by Hattie Fox, our company draws on influences from the natural world, artists of all disciplines and botanists. We place a high focus on seasonality above all else. We care about being as sustainable and ethical as we can, without compromising on style and artistry.
Our style and artistry seeks to create a place you can come for unique bouquets and floral designs or artisanal gifts.
Previously located at the Ace Hotel, we currently operate close to our homes in a shop on Chatsworth Road in Clapton, East London. It is a beautiful space both bustling and serene and has become a happy resting place and home for us after the whirlwind of the pandemic.
Here you can find a selection of (truly) seasonal flowers all sustainably sourced and almost exclusively locally grown, alongside plants, gifts and homewares for collection or delivery in London and nationwide. Our curation of vases, candles, scents and gifts are carefully selected by us from artisanal brands and creators.
Our farm in Kent, though not open to the public, is a place and project close to our hearts. The patch has given us an opportunity to start growing our own offering of beautiful, seasonal flowers to stock our shop, create special events with, or provide wholesale to other florists. From our farm and cutting patch in Kent, we also grow a variety of foliages and herbs and use these season to season.
Working with the seasons and natural conditions is an important part of honouring flowers and our work with them. We are constantly learning more about growing our own flowers and working with flowers in a slower, more sustainable way and the positive effects this can have on our business and industry.
